Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and the courses offered by Mechanical Spine Pain Institute Inc. ("MSPI", "we", "us"). By creating an account, registering for a course or using this website, you agree to these terms. Last updated: October 28, 2026.

1. Who may register

Our courses are designed for licensed physicians and regulated health professionals. You must provide accurate registration and professional information and keep it up to date. Each account is for one person only. Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.

2. Educational purpose

Course content is provided for professional education. It supports, but does not replace, your own clinical judgment, and it does not expand any participant's regulated scope of practice. You remain responsible for practising within the standards of your regulatory college.

3. Course structure and access

Each course includes online pre-course modules and a full-day, in-person skills training. Access to the online modules opens 30 days before your in-person course date and ends 30 days after it. Completion of the online modules is expected before the in-person day.

4. Fees and payment

Course fees are listed at registration and are payable in full at the time of registration. Payments are processed securely by our payment processor.

5. Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel at least 30 days before your in-person course date, you will receive a full refund less a $75 administration fee. No refunds are issued for cancellations made less than 30 days before the course. Cancellation requests must be sent in writing to info@spinecourse.ca.

6. Transfers

In place of a refund, you may transfer your paid course fee to a future delivery of the course, at any location, subject to seat availability. Transfers requested at least 30 days before your in-person course date are free; transfers requested less than 30 days before the course carry a $75 administration fee. Each registration may be transferred once, and the transferred fee must be used within 12 months of the original course date. You may also transfer your registration to another eligible clinician for a $75 administration fee, provided that: (1) the request is made in writing to info@spinecourse.ca at least 7 days before the in-person course; (2) the new attendee is a member of an eligible profession; (3) the new attendee completes the pre-course modules before the in-person day; and (4) the certificate of completion is issued only to the person who attends. The new attendee receives full access to the online pre-course modules, and the original registrant's access ends on the transfer date. All transfer requests must be sent in writing to info@spinecourse.ca.

7. Changes or cancellation by MSPI

If MSPI cancels or reschedules a course, you may transfer to another delivery or receive a full refund of the course fee. MSPI is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur.

8. Certificates of completion

A certificate of completion is issued only to the registered participant who meets all course requirements, including the online modules and full attendance at the in-person training.

9. Intellectual property

All course materials, including text, images, videos and assessments, are owned by MSPI or used under licence. You may use them for your personal professional education only. You may not copy, record, share, sell or publish course materials without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to share your account, interfere with the security or operation of the site, or use the site for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, MSPI is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or course materials, or from clinical decisions made by participants. Our total liability is limited to the course fee you paid.

12. Privacy, changes and governing law

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information. We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Questions can be sent to info@spinecourse.ca.
